ZK-XXI at NZMS

A pic taken at Masterton yesterday by Geoff Lloyd shows the AESL Airtourer T3A ZK-XXI2 (c/n C60).

This was built as a Victa Airtourer 100 and first flew in Australia on 21-05-1964 and then registered to Victa (NZ) Ltd of Auckland as ZK-CGP1 on 06-08-1964.
Its first NZ flight was on the following day and it was delivered to the Auckland Aero Club on the 8th.
Its registration was cancelled on 07-12-1973 and it was rebuilt as an AESL Airtourer T3A and re-delivered to the Auckland Aero Club as ZK-DSZ.
The Club flicked it off to private ownership in November 1978.
By late 1997 it was with Lifestyle Flights Ltd until sold via TradeMe in July of 2008 to Euroflight International Ltd of Mount Maunganui.
They re-registered it as ZK-XXI on 02-10-2008.
Just over a year later (01-11-2009) Airtourer 60 Ltd became the proud owner.
[60 being its construction number].
