As a follow on from my post on Colin Hay's restoration of his 7/8 scale Nieuport 17 replica B1506 ( http://nzcivair.blogspot.co.nz/2016/04/78-scale-nieuport-17-replica-b1506.html ), I offer this photo of the aircraft as it was originally completed as ZK-NIE1.
It is a photograph that was in the late Jack Mehlhopt's hangar and it probably him flying ZK-NIE over Timaru airport.
