Auster trio at Omaka.

At Omaka on Thursday the 2nd of April these three Austers were parked together.
 ZK-BGU is an Auster 5D c/n 1757. 
This one served with the RAF as TW387 before hitting the UK civil register as G-ANHY with R K Dundas on 03-02-1955 for onward sale to NZ.
It became ZK-BGU on 06-04-1955 and achieved its CofA on 04-05-1955 for A M Bisley and Co Ltd of Hamilton. After five further owners it was listed with Dave Duxbury, John McDonald and K J Kelly of Christchurch on 18-11-1980.
It has been stored for the last fourteen years and just got airworthy again in December.
 ZK-AXJ (c/n 2892) is an Auster J5. This came into NZ from Australia to join the Stratford Aero Club on 03-11-1950. It is currently with the Tolaga Bay Trust.
ZK-AZF (c/n 1272 is an Auster 5C - ex RAF and UK civil register. It came to NZ for Goodwin McNutt in December of 1951. It has been with Les Vincent since 1976 and is not long off a major rebuild.
