The row of withdrawn Piper PA-28 Cherokee's at the Canterbury Aero Club has been reduced by two with the move of ZK-DQZ and ZK-EBP over to the Air New Zealand Engineering Training Services hangar on the other side of Christchurch International Airport.
ZK-EBP has been reassembled and its engine installed and running whilst ZK-DQZ remains dismantled and will be transported to ANZ at Auckland along with the BAe Jetstream ZK-JSA.
ANZETS Christchurch will be shifting to their new building when it is completed in a couple of months.
The Aero Commander ZK-CWP has gone down to the Rhodes Museum at Wanaka and several engines have been moved out to the Ferrymead Aeronautical Society.
Many happy memories training in these aircraft....#nostalgia :)
