Bargeldo1 on gliders # 3

ZK-GCZ2 (c/n 831148) is the second of the recent Jonkers JS1-C arrivals from South Africa.
It is with the NZ agent J S Sailplanes Ltd of Tauranga and is being flown by owner Brett Hunter.
Shame about the canopy cover - but they do keep the cockpit temperatures down.
ZK-GXG (c/n 31) is another of the Glider rental fleet. This Schempp-Hirth Discus 2c is being flown by George Wills and is seen here under way on tow - the wing runner having been left behind.
Chris Richards Schempp-Hirth Ventus cM is ZK-GXL (c/n 375) has had some well known owners in its time. First up was Sandy Shields then Grae Harrison followed by Ray Lynskey, and Jim Berkett before joining Chris in September 2007.
Another Schempp-Hirth Ventus is this 2c model ZK-GYD (c/n 76) which is the Max Stevens chariot.
Just getting the tow hook connected in the nose is Warren Dickinson in his DG LS8-C ZK-GZB (c/n 8514).
Vaughan Ruddick is here giving the "take up slack" signal to the wing runner, who in turn is signalling the tow pilot. This is Rolladen-Schneider LS6-a ZK-GZI (c/n 6008). The Z1 tail marks are a left over from its German days.
And yet another of the Glider Rental Schempp-Hirth Duo Disci's is ZK-GZR (c/n 469) in the care of "G" Dale and Tom Klassen.
Next on the register is Schempp-Hirth Discus 2b ZK-GZS (c/n 22) from the Omarama Gliding Club being flown by Alex McCaw.
And finally we have the Schleicher ASH 25E ZK-GZZ4 (c/n 25062) of Theo Newfield, but as flown by Graham Parker and Tom Claffey.
