2024 Tiger Moth Club Flyin at Taumarunui

Last weekend the Tiger Club hosted their start-of-the-flying-season flyin at Taumarunui.  The weather co-operated but I did note that no Tigers made it from the South Island.  However there was one visiting Tiger that might have been at its first Tiger Club flyin.

ZK-AKC has been owned by Strikemaster Ltd of Auckland since 8/5/24, having previously been based at Taieri for many years.

By my count there were 9 Tiger Moths on the airfield plus Jan and Jerry Chisum's Gipsy Moth and John Pheasant's Jackaroo.

    What Tigers have you logged? According to John Pheasant there were 10 Tigers including his Jackeroo model PHZ and Stan Smith was there with the Dragon AXI.

    There were 9 Tigers, a Jackaroo and Gipsy there on Saturday morning. The dragon was only around on the Friday. ADT AKC ALK AON ATM BEC BEF BLI BMY CCQ and PHZ
