Readers of this blog will have been aware of Rob Mackley's rebuild of his Model 10A Electra in his hangar at Ardmore. I have briefly referred to this in an earlier post at: http://nzcivair.blogspot.co.nz/2011/06/more-ardmore.html and it has also been well covered in Ivor Wilkin's book Classic Planes - Celebrating New Zealand's Rich Aviation Heritage.
Contrary to my earlier post, the Electra is being recreated as ZK-AFD2.
