Cessna 172s ZK-XYX and ZK-ZAQ head offshore.

The Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP ZK-XYZ4 c/n 172S9926 and Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP ZK-ZAQ2 c/n 172S10039 were listed to Rock On Aviation Ltd of Wellington on 05-12-2023 and 25-11-2023.

ZK-XYZ4 gained its US registration certificate as N18563 on 03-08-2005 with the Cessna Aircraft Company at Wichita, Kansas. It was taken up by Cirrius Business LLC of West Palm Beach, Florida from 12-10-2005 followed by Gzork Investments LLC of Carlsbad, California from 09-08-2006.
Its US certificate was cancelled on 12-06-2012 for it to become ZK-XYZ4 with CTC Aviation Training (NZ) Ltd at Hamilton from 13-06-2012.

Title moved to L3 CTS Airline Academy (NZ) Ltd of Hamilton on 05-09-2017 and then on to the Ardmore Flying School Ltd at Ardmore from 09-10-2020.
And then - as above - to Roc On Aviation from 05-12-2023.

ZK-ZAQ2 was N2459X from 28-10-2005 with the Cessna Aircraft Company of Wichita, Kansas from 28-10-2005 until its move to Kennedale, Texas for Guy Davis from 17-01-2006. 
t was quickly moved on to Queen City Tee-Hawk Getaways Inc of La Fayette, Georgia from 09-05-2006.
Lanier Equipment Leasing LLC of Gainsville, Georgia feature briefly from 09-05-2008 followed by True Blue Skies of Cumming, Georgie from 25-06-2008 only to be cancelled on 14-07-2008 as exported to Australia.
It became VH-IMZ3 with Sweaton Investments Pty Ltd of Tugan, Queensland on 17-07-2008 and was operated by Australian Wings Academy Pty Ltd of Tugan from the same date.
On 25-03-2011 it was ferried from Norfolk Island into Kerikeri by Jim Hazleton and became ZK-ZAQ on 18-04-2011 and it followed the same ownership pattern as ZK-XYZ above - with slightly different dates.

Below we have ZK-ZAQ as seen at North Shore by Keith Morris on 08-02-2018 in its L3 scheme.
            Both departed from Ardmore for Auckland International Airport and then continued on to                                           Norfolk Island and Gold Coast and Brisbane on 27-01-2024.
    From Brisbane to Alice Springs on the 29th and to Broome on the 30th and Surabaya on the 31st.
              The 1st of February had them ferrying to Kuala Lumpur and on to Bangkok on the 2nd.
      After a couple of day layover they did the approximately 13 hour run to Nagpur in India on the 5th.
