A lazy Sunday at Timaru

 Timaru Airport early Sunday afternoon was pretty quiet, with the weather just starting to brighten up.

The TechPro Merlin 100 UL ZK-MEF c/n MV23 was in town.

This was acquired by Peter Finnegan of Twizel about a year ago and has allowed him to recently on sell his Rans S4 Coyote ZK-JPZ.  

I seem to recall that Peter had the Delore SkyTrike ZK-FQT back in the late 80's.

The South Canterbury Aero Club's Cessna 172N ZK-ERW c/n 17267728 returning from a flight.

Tied down near the SCAC was the Cessna 172L Superhawk ZK-DAT c/n 17259648.

This is powered with a Penn Yan Aero 180 hp engine and has been with Craig Irons of Levin since December 2017.
