Wow! It has been a long while in Levels 3 and 4 Lockdowns around the country which means no GA flying. And then when the rest of the country outside Auckland moved down to Level 2 when flying is allowed, the weather has been less than ideal for aviating. With great jealousy I can report that Jordan Elvy and Simon Hills went on a trip over to Hawkes Bay where the weather turned out to be great, and they happened upon these 2 aircraft:
At Bridge Pa aerodrome our latest Cirrus SR 22 ZK-PGU (c/n 1639) was out and about. As previously reported by Richard Currie, this is ex VH-PGU, and it was registered to the Cirrus agents, B B Aviation of Feilding on 13/7/21..And at Waipukurau the Evektor Sport Star Plus ZK-RPH was out flying. This is ex ZK-MAC2 and was registered to its new owner R P Hatfull of Waipukurau on 14/5/21 with its new registration.
Thanks very much for the photos Jordan.
