Auster J/5A Autocrat ZK-BDW at Stratford

I was surprised to see a photo taken at Stratford recently of an Auster that I had not previously seen and that has not been posted on the blog before:

ZK-BDW (c/n 3000) is an Auster J/5A Autocrat that was first registered in New Zealand way back in February 1954.  Brett Emeny purchased it from the Taranaki Gliding Club back in March 1986 and it has been registered to him ever since.
