Safe flying John
I did a gliding check flight with John and got myself into a bit of bother - while we were flying I imagined him writing an accident report (the crash was inevitable after the student failed to do X-Y-Z)
ReplyDeletefortunately I didn't bend the aeroplane and passed!
I did my Instrument Rating training with John while i was flying for the opposition (Central Flying School)in the 60’s. He was an excellent instructor. I also have enjoyed many a session mailing music with John both in Christchurch plus in more recent times at the Waitaki Summer music camp where we swopped many a tale of our similar career pathways.
