A journey today from Rotorua down to Taupo provided a number of aircraft and helicopters of interest including at Lake Rotorua the Volcanic Air Safaris Cessna U206G floatplane ZK-FEO has been repainted in a smart new fleet scheme
Outiside the Search & Rescue Services Taupo hangar was MBB BK117B-2 ZK-HEP which was imported from Spain in September 2018
Visiting from Gisborne was NR Aviation's Schweizer 269C ZK-HQF
And added to the Heli Sika fleet in July 2019 was Hughes 369D ZK-HZY which was imported from South Korea
The H369D ZK-HZY was imported from Korea in June this year, and stripped/repainted at Motueka by Argus Aviation. It was delivered north to Taupo the evening before, so that was good timing!
