Last Thursday at North Shore provided a selection of helicopters and aircraft, some of which I chronicle below:
Hiller FH 1100 ZK-HHW is owned by Brendan Leddy of Kumeu and has been around since 30/11/84! It has been posted quite a few times on this blog, but I thought it was worth another post as it is still looking great out in the sun. The history of ZK-HHW can be found at http://nzcivair.blogspot.co.nz/2012/11/fairchild-hiller-fh-1100-zk-hhw.html
A Robinson R 22 that was new to me was Richard Goodfellows ZK-HDJ5 down from Warkworth. An earlier post on ZK-HDJ5 can be found at http://nzcivair.blogspot.co.nz/2010/05/couple-of-robinson-helicopter-moves.html
And down at the Southern hangars was Cessna 172N Superhawk ZK-EOG, owned by Superhawk Holdings and now repainted in an all-white scheme (no doubt after SIDS work). It used to be a silver, blue and orange flying billboard for Pacey Trucks. The previous history of ZK-EOG can be found at http://nzcivair.blogspot.co.nz/2012/08/cessna-172n-zk-eog.html
