After spending a number of hours at AKL yesterday I returned home to see that the Boeing 787-9 ZK-NZE (c/n 34334) was returning from SYD with an eta of 17.20.

So decided to take a punt and go back out and chase it.

 

I thought I'd made the wrong choice when rain showers appeared over the harbour and the sun went behind the clouds as it arrived at 17.25

But I think the attached pics aren't too bad for unaltered images.
