Cycle of life Squirrel ZK-ITM

Observed today in the rain outside the Heli Maintenance Ltd's hangar at Christchurch International Airport was the Eurocopter AS 350 B3 Squirrel ZK-ITM (c/n 4735) of Helicontrax Ltd.

Below is what NZ Aviation News said about this helicopter when it joined the NZ register back in December last.

   "a pre loved machine from Chile which goes to Ben Walker of Helicontrax in Christchurch as ZK-ITM. This Squirrel initially flew under the manufacturers test registration of F-WWXO before being sent off to Chile where it became CC-CXX with Eurocopter Chile followed by EcoCopter who operate a fleet of very colourful machines. CXX was painted in a “Cycle of life” theme which it will retain in NZ. It was NZ certified at Wanaka in early January. "
