A trip to Wellington today for a newly nonegenarian birthday celebration didn't allow any time for aircraft, except at the airport waiting for our return flight to Auckland.
The all black domestic Airbus A 320 ZK-OJR was our ride to Auckland. Much roomier than the 737 we flew down in.
While at the International Terminal the black and white Star Alliance painted Airbus A-320 ZK-OJH awaited a flight to Australia (photo'd from ZK-OJR on push-back so somewhat grainy). The short haul international Airbuses have a MAUW of 77 tonnes against the domestic aircraft's 71.5 tonnes
Man, there are a lot of variations on black and white colour schemes for Air New Zealand Airbuses out there at the moment!
