More Asburton pics 01-02-2014

Bargeld01 called through Ashburton on Saturday and has sent in these shots.
The Mid Canterbury Aero Club was active with the Piper PA-28-181 Cherokee Archer II ZK-EBZ (c/n 28-7790262) ready to go. This was originally a Canterbury Aero Club aircraft from 1977. It was damaged at Moana on 05-08-1984 and was sold off in April 1985 to the Ashburton Flying Syndicate. A couple of months later it was re-listed to H R Evans, T I Coulter and M J Cooper of Ashburton. It transferred to the Mid Canterbury Club in May of 1990. Note the unusual "hyphen" in the registration marks.
Cessna 150J ZK-EFD2 (c/n 69904) came from Japan in November 1997 and took up the ZK-SUM registration and served at Mount Maunganui with Euroflight International Ltd. It was re-registered as ZK-EFD on 26-05-2006. Sold and delivered to Ashburton on 04-06-2010 for Gary Hood and is on line with the Mid Canterbury Aero Club.
Also now on line with the Mid Canterbury Aero Club is this Piper PA-34-200T Seneca II ZK-FNB (c/n 34-7970236).
Missing from Bargeld01's line up of the Mid Canterbury Aero Club fleet was the Piper PA-28-140E Cherokee ZK-DEL (c/n 28-7225214). Here is my shot of her as taken on 29-01-2014.
It has been with the Club since late 1991.
ZK-MDL is a Cessna 180A with the c/n of 32882. By my count this was the 220th of the 356 180A's built. It went down to Uruguay and was registered as CX-ASR. And that's about all I know about it except that it turned up on the NZ register as ZK-MDL on 25-01-2007 with R M Patterson of Mosgiel.
