Gliding at Paraparaumu on Sunday.

Mike from  http://www.mrcaviation.blogspot.co.nz/ has sent these photographs taken at Paraparaumu on 01-04-2012 showing some of the Wellington Gliding Clubs fleet at rest.
Above is the Piper PA-25-235 Pawnee C ZK-SUG (c/n 25-4749). A 1968 model which migrated to Australia and became VH-SUG in January 1980. It was ferried across the Tasman in loose formation with the Beaver VH-IDR (which became ZK-BBX again) reaching Auckland on 05-06-1993. It was registered as ZK-SUG to Mike Thomas of Killermont Station on 13-09-1993 and ultimately to the Wellington Gliding Club on 07-03-1995.
The Club operates two DG Flugzeugbau DG-1000S two seaters ZK-GGR (c/n 10-95 S 67) and ZK-GPJ2 (c/n 10-103 S 70), both acquired in 2007.
One of the Club's single seaters is this PZL-Swidnik PW-5 Smyk ZK-GWG (c/n 17-03-005) which joined the Club new in 1995.
