A cool Cherokee ZK-DEJ

A nice clear night followed by a magic sunrise this morning (13-10-2010) at Rangiora, left an unwelcome deposit on the airframe of Piper PA-28-140E Cherokee ZK-DEJ , c/n 28-7225148.

This slabwing was shipped into NZ on 09-03-1972 for delivery to the Otago Aero Club. It remained at Taieri for just on ten years before moving into private ownership. Seven owners later it was listed to Phillip Amende and Darcy Schack of Mosgiel  on 06-07-2009.

Just a touch of frost.
