Kittyhawk ZK-VWC continues its test flight programme and today (Anzac Day - 25 Apr) was particularly poignant, this being exactly 65 years since this aircraft came to grief in New Guinea. Relatives of the pilot involved in the accident were present at Ardmore for today's flight along with TV3. The aircraft has, since its first flight a few days ago, has been fitted with a 52 gallon drop tank.
