From my understanding, the conversion kit comes from a crowd called Heli-Lynx (Canadian?), and the airframe is re-engined with a Honeywell LTS101-700 to deliver the benefits noted above. Seems unlikely that Eurocopter are particularly happy, but I note that Heli-Lynx have sold 10 kits into Australia this month.
Can anyone tell me exactly what an AS350 FX is ? (as seen on the tail boon).
AS350FX is an upgraded AS350BA or B2. Upgraded powerplant, electrics etc. Better performance especially at high altitude/heavy weight.
